Founder’s Day
The Society’s Spring Banquet in honor of our namesake, Thomas Jefferson
Founder’s Day is the Society’s annual spring banquet to celebrate Thomas Jefferson’s birthday, April 13th, 1743. The banquet features a formal meal and a guest speaker who discusses Jefferson’s life, contributions, and legacy. Founder’s Day was first celebrated by the Society in 1832.
The 192nd Annual Founder’s Day will be held on April 6th, 2024 from 6-8PM at the Rotunda. Our keynote speaker will be Dr. Phyllis Leffler.
