Founder’s Day is the Society’s annual spring banquet to celebrate Thomas Jefferson’s birthday, April 13th, 1743. The banquet features a formal meal and a guest speaker who discusses Jefferson’s life, contributions, and legacy. Founder’s Day was first celebrated by the Society in 1832.

Wilson Day is the Society’s annual fall banquet to discuss the life and legacy of President Woodrow Wilson, a former member and president of the Society. The event features a formal dinner—traditionally held in the Rotunda—and a guest speaker who discusses Wilson and his legacy.

Each semester, the Society invites faculty from around the University to join us in Jefferson Hall (Hotel C, West Range) to chat with our members and other students in a conversational setting over coffee, tea, and light snacks. The Society thrives on the free and open discussion of ideas, and hosting faculty from the University is one of our most cherished traditions.
